The FWSS Winter 2025 collection is a refined exploration of classic school uniform archetypes, reinterpreted through the lens of our creative director’s Italian heritage and shaped by Scandinavian restraint.
“This collection is a study in contrasts,” says Creative Director Elizabeth Romanin, “structure and softness, nostalgia and modernity. I wanted to take something as universally understood as the school uniform and transform it into something deeply personal and desirable.”
Drawing inspiration from the nostalgic rigor of scholastic dress codes – pleated skirts, crisp shirts, classic knitwear, maxi length skirts and outerwear – the collection transforms familiar silhouettes into elevated staples for the discerning modern wardrobe.
Subtle nods to academia are juxtaposed against the softness and fluidity of ballet with wrap-around knit wear, off-shoulder silhouettes, textural silks and voluminous skirts. A palette of muted charcoal, olives and neutrals is contrasted with ballet pink and crimson red.
The collection is finished with cocooning heavy knit turtlenecks and shearling outerwear in delicate cream, rich chocolate and black evoking a sense of warmth and protection for the coldest of days.
This season FWSS explores the space where elevated occasional dressing meets luxurious everyday staples all grounded in functionality and simplicity.
